Bismillah.
All praises be to Allah for without Him, I’d be engulfed in opposing feelings of both excitement and anxiousness.
So today, as I took a glimpse at my phone’s home screen, the countdown showed 100 days. I had this “biar betuuuul” feeling all day today. Even as I’m writing this post, my whole being is a mix of so many emotions.
There’s so many things I want and need to do but I’m unsure if I can complete it on time.
So this is how it feels like when you know you have a deadline eh. (Rasa deadline ni lain dari deadline sekolah biasa. huhu)
So for now, I intend to keep 2 daily reflections
- “Seratus Hari Sebelum Aku Bernikah” journal to pen down the wedding preps, feelings, self improvement (hopefully menjadi Ya Rabb kuatkan diri ini).
- Revise one name of Allah each day since it’s 99 more days (mashaAllah surreal. Doakan ya…)
Ohhh before I end, the main motivation behind this post was actually due to Samsung’s Health app which I find amazing! If you have one, please do add me. Life is so much better with friends to strive with 🙂
It’s main functions are similar to any normal health app which stores data of your sleeping hours, calories intake and number of steps. However, the value proposition, I feel, is how it makes the app very social, connecting you to the world and of course, your friends. So there’s 1-1 challenge on who reaches the target first between friends. There’s also a community challenge and a cute map to visualise your progress alongside your friends. So it’s quite competitive and fun! ON TOP OF ALL THAT, they have free health programmes we can take part in. Previous apps required me to pay for this additional feature (my brother paid nearly $8 for a 5km workout routine story-like programme). Hence, when I saw the beginner’s 10km preparation programme, I was solddddd. Alhamdulillah for this app.
Other than the physical aspect of life update, I’m also really thankful for Syafiqah for sparking the dying flame. Slowly but surely ❤
Before I end, I think the biggest takeaway for me today is how deadlines are inevitable. Everything will happen in its perfect time and place. Reminds me of our life’s deadline. This is scarier for sure.

Praying the very best for you dearest!
