The day started out wonderful as I get to spend the morning with SMU MS at a very beautiful mosque. We ate Nasi Lemak for breakfast and I happily hopped on 93 from the bus stop opposite the mosque which stopped at my block’s bus stop. #grateful

Told my self that I have 30 minutes to lepak which turned to 2 hours. Then things went downhill as I was late for a movie outing with my friends! Even Grab couldn’t save me this time. (Alhamdulillah, misi no Grab/Gojek still standing strong!)

So yeah, that’s when I tweeted about having understanding friends. At the end of the day, if they remind you of Him, in any way, they are worth keeping because you know you need them. ❤

It was Ezza’s birthday and since it’s recess week for both SMU and NUS, we decided to spend the day together with Kienah. We watched Misteri Dilaila which all of us agreed it’s not Syafiq Yusof’s best movie. I felt that it left me hanging. So many unanswered questions. So if you want to go for the thrill, get jump scares every now and then and drop your hp like I did haha, go ahead. But if you want something to engage your mind, please refrain. Sekian.

Then Kienah belanja rides at Marina bay Carnival. I can’t recall when was the last time I rode on any ride. Woah besttt. The last time I tried viking was when Escape Theme Park was still operating (fuh lama tu). Tu pun duduk near the centre. This time, having kienah and ezza on both my sides eased me a bit? We sat at the end of the ship though. Serious jantung, badan, cermin mata, semua nak terkeluar dari seat. Never againnnn 😥

We drove birthday girl home and prayed Maghrib at An-Nur before heading home. It was a much needed break alhamdulillah.

Can’t help but be reminded of Allah’s shade in the hereafter. About people whose hearts are attached to the mosque. About friends loving each other for His sake. May Allah guide us and keep us firm upon the right path…
