This is refreshing. Side story: I have to deal with being the unofficial DJ (as I need to do work at the main computer) at work because my colleagues want some background music to ease any tension when dealing with patients. Apparently my go-to classic piano didn’t make it on their list :’) So, thank you Rabithah for this piece of music with meaningful lyrics.

Ar-Rahim reminds me of mothers so so much. I mean, mothers have the “rahim” in them which is a a small reflection of Allah’s Ar-Rahim for us ❤
This mother I saw was stern but loving to her child in terms of prayer. As servants of Ar-Rahim, one should strive to be strong and steadfast in upholding the truth. In addition, caring, loving and kind towards all living creatures.
BTB (bride to be) update of the day:

- Went for kain shopping today with the owner of Deepduzt, a dear sister.
- Her family is just so mashaAllah
- People will always question your choices but welcome their comments anyway. We don’t know if they might come in handy one day.
- So people questioned me because I decided to engage in my friends’ business for services like wedding outfit, henna, photography, DJ, cake, make-up (lel, just to make me look fresh. Hopefully).
- They would question about the quality of these services and I would shrug it off because I BELIEVE in my friends and everyone starts off somewhere right?
- There was once, a colleague tried to convince me to invest in a good photography service because to her, it is the most fundamental aspect of any wedding. Pictures and videos that will “last” thus, fundamental.
- I admit that sometimes it gets to me. I would think about how wonderful certain weddings are. But I’d reflect on how I NEED to save money, how I WANT to support friends and ultimately…I don’t think I want to channel so much resources there. To each his own…
- So all is well, inshaAllah….
Till then.
