Rested for an hour before heading to the north for C’s open house. Thought it was a big family thing but turned out it was for C’s and her zauj’s friends. So we met Kak Mun, baby Musa and Mdm S too!

It was a great catch-up session. Really appreciate C sharing her experience at Jordan. Truly happy for how everyone has grown. Adulted and adulting ehh hehe. May Allah bless your efforts in promoting silaturrahmi.

Which reminds me of the conversation I had with the Grab driver during the journey north. A hindu married to a christian, he mentioned in awe how our visiting culture is still strong. (Actually bro tanya kenapa lesser people jalan2 = lesser people take Grab katanya. I said maaaybe it’s the school holiday season and that many might have opted for car rental as it’s cheaper, in most instances!) Learnt a thing or 2 about his way of celebrating Christmas and Deepavali and that made me appreciate mine more. Alhamdulillah~
