I should learn to take some things with a pinch of salt. Really. It’s for my sanity. So naive.
Other than that minor hiccup, I think Ramadhan day 2 is better. Still trying to adapt to my no IG and FB routine. (Srikandi Yusra’s IG does not count. I am obliged to like some posts by my family *side eyes Kakak Majulah* and sign up for some free iftar meal etc) But wahhh I can’t believe how many times my fingers wander off and auto search for that app when I have free time! I kept the apps in a folder and on the last page so that it takes longer to launch it. It works because that precious seconds while trying to find the app allowed myself to be reminded that I have better things to do.
Yes, I do question my intent in abstaining from those social media platforms but only to be back after Ramadhan. (Read: Temporary deactivation) Thing is, to my skeptical self and to others who actually questioned, I don’t plan on deleting useful tools in life. I’m merely realigning the way I use it. On top of that, Ramadhan is special. It’s when we inculcate good habits that inshaAllah will be adopted beyond this month. Soooo instead of being skeptical, do pray for each other ya?
ANYWAY.
I received good news that Ezza will be joining Tahfiz Xpress too! MashaAllah. Please pray for us ❤
My twinnies Iffah and Izzah created a group “Fit during Ramadhan” and I’m soooo inspired by them. Can’t wait to update on my small stretches :’)
Okay this feels good. To be able to reflect on the good stuff that happened today. I thought I was going to end the day in a bad note but mashAllah, His blessings are countless ❤
Can’t wait to do terawih at Qudwah someday and get my maggi goreng fix from KGC. @kienah
Ayat of The Day:
