Mercy

I broke the news to my Saturday class that next week is my last lesson with them. Mixed emotions but definitely can’t wait to claim my Saturdays back and focus on #Roadto30

Today, we touch on the topic of Mercy. How Rasulullah s.a.w is so merciful towards his enemies (story of Taif), towards animals, and us (hadith on the usage of siwak) – his ummah.

We had Muslim Volunteer Project #1 by cleaning the mosque after recess. Glad that they had a good time. I was quite nervous to let them roam around the praying area for fear of any misbehaviour. But alhamdulillah they maintained their cheekiness. Super touched to have a noja who was readily available to guide the students on where and how to clean. Also to the group of Indian Muslim brothers who gave my students some goodies after they cleaned the mosque. People like them make mosques a more welcoming place for all ❤

Anyway this video is so meaningful. For when we forget that whatever we do, we do it for Allah. Really helped me get through the day today.

Ended the day with some personality test profile exchange. Asked abah if I can share his profile and he said, bolehlah kan family. Surreal surreal surreal – inshaAllah walhamdulillah.
