Terkejut bila diri dimarahi kerana tak mampu berbahasa mandarin. Aunty tu pun terus letak telefon. Lama juga diri ini berfikir. Terguris ke hati ni? Hati tisu betul. Lol. Perlahan-lahan disambung kerjanya. Panggilan-panggilan seterusnya ada yang mesra, ada yang suaranya baru bangun tidur dan ada yang biasa, mendatar. Takkan sekadar diherdik sekali dah down kan? Memang terasa. Tapi kebaikan yang dipamerkan respondant yang lain buat diri sedar dan syukuuur. 🙂 Afterall, it’s Friday and Aunty shall not ruin my mood 🙂
I can’t believe it’s Saturday tomorrow. I realise that I have no off day anymore….and this makes me sad after Syafiqah reminded me about time and how our mothers yearn to spend it with us.
My days are filled. Weekdays: School Weekends: Work then lepak.
Since Abah is not in SG, I thought Ummi would be lonely. So I decided to skip dinner with friends and went home straight to attempt at preparing dinner, after a fulfilling day with Syaf. Alhamdulillah.
It’s hard to balance and make time for everyone kan… Stresses me out when I see my Google Calendar. I chose to do the things that I’m doing and I shall stay strong. Need to grab every opportunity possible to spend more time with parents. InshaAllah…
On a side note: Akak Majulah petik gambar2 ni. Hebat lah hp baru dia tu haha mashaAllah. I find that cooking, walaupun setakat je menunya haha, is really therapeutic and is a good bonding activity. Kecoh but teamwork in order to make the dream work.
Ayat of The Day:
فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّن قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
So [Solomon] smiled, amused at her speech, and said, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.”
– 27:19
This ayat comes after yesterday’s AOTD. After the ants were cautioned to avoid being stepped on by Prophet Sulaiman, he became thankful for the favours that were bestowed upon him. Such as the ability to comprehend animals. The next step in expressing gratitude which is painted in the ayat is to be thankful for the blessings bestowed upon our parents and lastly to do righteous deeds.
