My C is married :’)

Sat, 19th Jan:

My beautiful princess is someone’s wife now. MaashaaAllah. May Allah bless this union between the both of you, till jannah. Bestnye bawak suami balik Jordan =p

Finally met my sahabat seperjuangan Elyaaaa (nama character dari buku. Real name is Aisyah). 3 years kot tak jumpa. It’s her final semester in Jordan too. InshaAllah kte semua grad, husnul khotimah ❤

On top of that, my prayers goes to awesome childhood neighbour, Kak Fizah for tying the knot today! So sad I couldn’t make it to her nikah at Muhajirin in the morning but thankful to have met her on her big day. (Alhamdulillah for grab and energy and HEALTH!!

On a side note, I need to renew my “no grab” resolution. Wah. No joke. Even uncle driver was saying how people spend so much of their earnings on grab. Funny how he advises me against grab when he’s driving one. The route from Ansar to Sembawang just lama to the point that uncle sempat beri kata dua. I asked him to speed HAHA and he told me grab has the ability to check the speed of its drivers (wow) and would suspend them. But he said he will try. Then goes on talking about disruptive tech, his children and the future of my generation. :’) #layan

Friday, 18th Jan:

The only thing I managed to write about yesterday:

“Sakit. Sakit tu hadir bila badan nak dimanjakan. Bila badan rindu untuk diberi perhatian.”

I was so sick to the point that I slept without blogging, Ummi ironed my jubah for me and skipped dinner because I didn’t feel hungry. (May Allah bless you, Ummi ❤ )

Alhamdulillah for the rest and prayers, I felt a lot better today. I think I should really look out for the signs when it comes. Flu is the first sign of the body needing its due rest. I kept pushing on and even ate ice-cream yesterday ugh. Regrets.

Main highlight of yesterday has got to be how I find it fascinating that my friend, after 2 years into the part-time job, has forged strong connections with the elderly. They even exchanged information on what to cook for the day and even wants to have a meet up (!geram!) I like how he wraps the questions into conversations and easily does the survey while conversing. Meanwhile, new me went all formal and that made the respondent ask “banyak lagi ke nak/cu?” With more practice, I’ll be better at this. InshaAllah.

Ayat of The Day:

وَقَالُوا نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَالًا وَأَوْلَادًا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
And they said, “We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished.”

This scares me. One might think that a life without problems is a blessed life because Allah gives one in abundance. But it might just be istidraj. Ujian yang berbentuk kesenangan. May we pass all ujians in life! Aameen.
