Today was quite relaxing. There was not much traffic in the morning and as I strolled into the compounds of Ansar Mosque, I was welcomed by jemaah acknowledging one another, all smiles. Apparently, other than our teachers’ briefing, there was also a maulid with habibs and briyani going on. So happening.
It felt nice to be behind the table, being instructed and take part in the activities. We began by a simple taaruf as we welcome new members to our Ansar family. We then did a simple DISC questionnaire, a behaviour assessment tool, to understand how we work as a person and thus understanding one another better when we work as a team for academic year 2019. I wasn’t surprised when I checked all statements for S. S describes me through and through.
But of course, people can, and will, change 🙂
We also discussed on values and admin matters.
Biggest takeaway would be this:
Ended the day with class at MKS and met Arifah, Ezza, Muhsinah – fellow sahabat seperjuangan.
Ustazah Z reminded us that if we ever get tired, PAUSE. Realign our target. Just, do not stop.
While at it, I received an offer to teach on Saturdays. I can’t believe I didn’t say no right away. I can’t believe I’m still contemplating on it. I have my reasons why I should/shouldn’t take. Dah fikir (I asked kakak majulah for advice because I don’t want to bother others and know that parents and tbh would remind me to check on my sanity and welfare…), dah istikharah. Now let’s see if they still want me because I can only commit for 1 term.

Ayat of The Day
كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم ۚ مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah . If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.
