It’s been soooo long since I went out of the house like every other citizen, those who report to work/ school as early as 7.30am. Will need to train myself because I have an 8am class this semester haha. Hence, I’m glad I managed to sleep earlier than usual.
Today, I was given the opportunity to work alongside kakak majulah (Nusaibah) in conducting a back to school activity, sharing study skills with the secondary 1 students of Madrasah Al-Arabiah. This is my 2nd year facilitating the workshop under Asian Leaders Institute. Alhamdulillah.
At the end of the day, when Abah and Cik Razak asked how were the students, I said, “cute” in a heartbeat. Because nothing defines them better than that.
When asked to describe their expectations about secondary 1, they mentioned “new, fun, interesting, different.”
They were simply, fresh, positive and lovable.
These students are sooo precious Mashaallah. Sis can’t decide hati nak sejuk memandang or cair with their akhlak.
They were very attentive and responsive. Saying thank yous when given a sweet and helped one another in class. One of them was adik Farhana (senpai’s wife). Senyuuuum je macam kakak nye and very helpful. Mashaallah. May each of them grow into beneficial members of the society inshaAllah!
Saw my secondary school teachers like Mr Muneer, Ustaz Azhari and Mr Roslan. This brought back memories and hopes from my past. Today’s session motivated me a lot and I can’t wait for the first day of school next week! 😊
Ended the day by going to mediacorp campus accompanied by ummi. Don’t know what I will do without her cos I honestly was so tired and tak nak keluar rumah pun tadi haha.
Ayat of The Day
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْGod does not change the condition of a people [for the worse] unless they change what is in themselves
– 13:11
We discussed about this verse in class today. You can have all the goals, resources and opportunities. But if you don’t take the first step, nothing will change. #nts
