Timely reminder!
The intention is the hardest but most important part.
Like what my lovely kak Yam would say, in any context, check whether there is benefit for either party. If not, it’s best to leave it. 🙂

You might have guessed it. Social media.

I think it’s safe to say most of us do have a certain degree of social media addiction/attachment. So over time I’ve learnt to manage my social media usage better and I got spurred to share my personal take and strategies in managing it upon seeing Aida Azlin’s video with her friend Sarina on social media addiction. Watch it here.

1) Set certain days, time and duration for your use

Weekends only, alternate days, etc. On Instagram there’s an option where you can set a time limit on your daily usage. It also helps prevent you from getting over-stimulated, and this rings well especially for HSPs like me.

2) Take on the observer point-of-view

Helps when you see peers with their children, friends with their partners, those on holiday/honeymoon, others’ milestones etc.

“That’s them and their life, and I too have mine”…
