- Tazkirah:
- Rusyidah gave a tazkirah based on this hadith: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا
- Which translates to: O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings (i.e., what they do early in the morning)
- Talked about how nafkah is based on our taqwa. Taking the birds as a parable for humans to emulate. They seek sustenance in the morning and come back by evening
- Find a job that is of quality (allows you to do ibadah, read Quran) and not prioritise quantity i.e income at the expense of time spent for ibadah and family.
- Tauhid:
- Shiham explained about Qada Qadr. How we need to remove bad taqdir with good taqdir by striving for it. The book explicitly mentions this example: Bad taqdir: Hungry –> Good taqdir: Full
- Hence you achieve good taqdir by striving to feed yourself. Applies to many instances in our life where we need to strive to maintain good health, build good relationships, find a good spouse etc.
- The ability to discern and balance between taqdir and the will to strive is sadly lacking in our community 😦 For example: One falls sick because one did not manage their health well. Instead of finding means and ways to heal, one says: “Oh dah taqdir aku sakit” when one did not strive to prevent it from the start.
- We also ranted our frustrations on another prevailing example –> family planning. Yes each child will bring you sustenance. But not without hard work. Having 9 kids and not taking care of them is really sad and alarming 😦
- Hadtih:
- Main theme was about mercy. Arina highlighted the importance of treating these hati basahs (living things) with mercy.
- I’m glad each one is doing well alhamdulillah. And lil one will be coming out soon! May Allah ease Kak Rusydah’s first delivery. Khola (aunty) cannot wait to meet you inshaAllah ❤
- Tazkirah:
- Received 2019 Planner! MashaAllah exciting times ahead. The planner is so comprehensive too!
- Came home to the dark chocolate I’ve been craving for.
- Happiest birthday to the mashaAllah man. May Allah accept the deeds for the past 20 years and bless your days ahead ❤
- The fact that I am /still/ blessed with time to improve myself
Alhamdulillah!
