Tekka!

Yay to Aljunied-Hougang town council! They are finally renovating the lifts here. Alhamdulillah. photo_2018-11-14_16-32-12 (2)

Back to the topic. I know Tekka is near school but I didn’t know it was that convenient for one to travel from school via the bus. In fact, there are 3 bus services with a maximum of 4 stops only! #year4belike

Such a blessing as I went there today to alter my bridesmaid dress. This time, I have 2 outfits as a bridesmaid. Busyyyyy. Speaking of which, my sisters have been bugging me to choose and design my outfit for The Day. Can you imagine? They are the excited ones. (okay, okay low-key excited too)

So the usual shop which charges $6-8 per alteration had their hands full. Hence, we had to resort to this one which charged us $10 with a 1 hour waiting time. Oklah kot since I can’t alter the princess-cut dress myself ><  So while waiting for the dress, we had our lunch. Yummm. #IndianFoodFTW 😛

Ended the day with alqudwah class. Saw Farhah, Amani and Masykurah(!). Awesome. Today’s sharing session was very enlightening and I can’t wait for the next 2 classes. Background: Kak Aminah allowed me to take her place for 3 weeks. Truly grateful. Alhamdulillah.

After the lesson ended, a lady approached me and asked about “Why is Arabic Language used as the medium in Al-Quran?” (something along those lines) I tried to explain but I knew I wasn’t making sense. So now, homework, I need to structure how to explain to her next week. Thankful for the opportunity to revisit and put my thoughts in a more coherent manner! I realised that I left so many information out while explaining thus I committed myself to explain better the next time we meet inshaAllah.

I need to fully reflect, internalise and pray that the knowledge sticks, that the knowledge is beneficial and may it be of benefit for us.
