Day 6 of Recess Week!

Basically spent my day at Masjid Kampung Siglap with awesome young minds.

Then during break, I couldn’t resist the waffles and now regret sets in as the throat feels sore huhu.

In the evening, I submitted the duit salam write up to my uncle. Didn’t know that he’s in charge of the Hidayah column. But Hidayah column is for current issues from the perspective of asatizahs with very, very formal language. Mine is essentially an op-ed with a first person narrative. Apape lah ye. No time to worry. Janji tulis.

I didn’t have the mood to go home because I was mentally tired so I sat in the musolla until after Maghrib in hopes to finish some tasks. Only managed some random readings :’)

But since I promised Ummi to come back after maghrib, I slowly made my way home. Perks of promising people is that it makes you committed to do it.
