Pejam celik je *gasps*
Started the day with “I need data”.
Deliberated on a formal survey platform to informal ones like Twitter and Instagram. I did not only want fast results but accessible to a majority of my target audience – our youth. I know I cannot account the demographics of each voter but mashaAllah, 9 hours and 400 votes is more than what I expected! In comparison to my school projects, where we had to personal message people just to get 100 responses within 5 days! Granted, they are longer and need careful deliberation.
Anyway back to the poll. I sought the help from Muffins on how to structure the question and pm-ed influencers to help spread. Didn’t want to disturb TBH but he helped too and that made my day really. (I still cringe at the thought of asking smugerek because only extroverts usually post stuff there. As usual, a krik krik-no response-situation after you post but issokay! Cos one needs to vary her pool of voters).
Truly, really, appreciate every single share and vote from everyone. Also those who personally message to give their thoughts on it. I also learnt a thing or two where the ideals and market rates come from. How other cultures do it. (Stress please perlu tulis nama kat angbao. huhu). MashaAllah. Barakallahu feekum! It gives us hope that our generation still believe that we give out of sincerity, based on what we can afford (both host and guests) and for both parties to be mindful, adopting ihsan in their conduct.
Then I had to go for a meeting at school. 1 person backed off :’) So I had to come else my dear friend will be all alone 😦 Alhamdulillah it was worth ittt eventhough the weather was really so precious. Precious for one to stay at home haha. Our group received step by step guidance from prof on how best to proceed with this research project (the mod is about social media theories btw haha. I better be an influencer after this mod) Truly a struggle to stay awake in a mod that discusses theories of SOCIAL MEDIA. But I like the prof and I like the parts where we apply theories. So I’m coping well alhamdulillah.
Went back home right after and managed to cover some chapters of Hilal Asyraf’s part 2 of Sebelum Aku Bernikah book while on the way home. Yay! Shall do an exchange of book reviews with Syafiqah Samsudin soon #nts
Filled the evening with essay plans for 2 mods and preparation for tomorrow’s fishy meeting! May Allah guide us.
And now….ending the day with therapy and trying to write the promised article about Kita Masyarakat Inklusif based on Duit Salam incident (I might change the title but I hope to capture the eyeballs of certain people since they’ve been talking about inclusivity for as long as I can remember!)
