So someone just woke up haha. I’m aching all over but I feel good! Alhamdulillah.
I wanted to post something earlier on as an attempt to keep up with my Friday updates I had last month (2 minggu je kot on the 7th & 14th Sept haha). But oh well~
What a draining day! Haha ok over. Had 1 presentation and 1 submission today and I can finally breathe~ Just a short one ok self before all other looming deadlines come ya.
It helps to have a goal to look forward to and little celebrations after each completion because that, my friends, is self-love. Although Fatinah wasn’t there and Syahmi popped by for a bit, I’m glad to have a mini impromptu muffins lunch at subway after class! (Haha guys, if you’re reading this, I apologise for leaving my bag at our table just to eat with another friend huhu. Janji makan sama outlet? :’) ) I ate with Amirah instead, a fellow year 4 and had a really good catch up session. (but thank you Haz and Athirah for waiting for me! terharu.)
I can’t think of any better way to start my recess week other than to sweat it out at lovely Our Tampines Hub (OTH). I’m glad we had today’s training where I utilised it to channel week 7’s frustrations about school, myself and the world. It’s been so long since I went to OTH’s jogging track and boy was it great to be there again. Immersing in all the hype that OTH offers all day everyday and it was coach’s first time too! So honoured to be part of her first experience.
Anyway, I can’t believe that the race is in a week! TBH’s reminder to “jangan stress” is my constant go-to mantra whenever stress starts to creep in. But nothing beats physical motivation who whispers positive things to you and pushes you to your supposed limit. Today, we acknowledge that a person’s capability can be stretched. I aimed for 3 rounds but we ended up with 4. I thought we only had 1 PT but Iffah being Iffah, and I think she knows how I work now, surprises me with more and more challenges that I didn’t know I could complete. The best and most beautiful part is to have someone do it with you. “Remember your ice kacang after this, a little bit more!” really helps honestly.
OTH would not be OTH if one does not chance upon familiar people! Ada je terserempak. Paling best, I crossed paths with lil bro. What were the odds. With that, I realised how I really enjoy short but meaningful moments! A simple exchange of salam is enough to make my day. No wonder Islam encourages us to do just that! May we continue to spread salam to others inshaAllah!
Assalaamu’alaikum 🙂
