If I ever feel unloved

Friday, 21st September 2018

It has been a blessed week for Singapore with the presence of Anse Tamara Gray and her fellow akhowat. Alhamdulillah.

Click on the topics for the notes from the talks:

  1. Joy Jots (Tuesday, I couldn’t make it for this. But this was what Athirah and my neighbour shared!)
  2. The Crowning Venture: Women who memorize the Quran (Wednesday)
  3. Hidden Jewels of The Past – Ummahatul Mukminin (Friday)

Ya Allah, if I ever forget, if I ever feel unloved, remind me of tonight.

Remind me about the sea of muslimaat sitting so closely with knees touching, our halal singing and swaying to the lovely beats of drums, listening about our ummahaatul mukminin.

Remind oh Allah, how I went there alone, as always, but came home with a full heart, a heart touched by the smiles and salaams of meeting old and new sisters.

Remind me oh Allah, how classes and talks are but a stone’s throw away from home, the ease…mashaAllah.

Remind me oh Allah, of the beloved neighbour who came up to me and offered me a ride home, sharing gems while she drives and even insisted on waiting for me to go up the stairs before driving off.

The anisahs that came, made my long forgotten dreams come alive…they made 2010 felt as though it was only yesterday. Remind me oh Allah, of those days back in 2010, remind me oh Allah, that your help is near. Qareeban.

Ya Allah, truly, which of Your favours would one deny?

Praise is to Allah by Whose grace good deeds are completed
