My Friday revolved around the theme family.

Went to work with a happy heart because I claimed half day to compensate the work I had on 28th July. I left office and rushed to the wonderful west.

Told them that I “pejam pelik tak sampai-sampai”. This was followed by some laughter because the correct usage was actually “pejam celik” ok friends. One needs to brush up her malay… But memang pelik tak sampai-sampai. But alhamdulillah 45 minutes from Eunos to Lakeside is still ok i guess!

What I really want to highlight about Friday is to never underestimate the power of intention and doa. Allah is All Hearing. ❤

I really wanted to see lil one but did not find any opportunity to do so. I asked Syafiqah if she will be meeting Arif anytime soon. So that was when Syafiqah invited me to the ziarah. Alhamdulillah. Semoga Nur Hasanah Tan menjadi qurratu ain buat ukhti Raihana dan Akh Arif dan sentiasa menyebarkan hasanah pada semua. inshaAllah. Barakallahu feekum!

The second highlight has got to be how I met A. We live near each other but somehow di Tampines jugalah kami bertemu…Got to know our parents are friends! Interesting. Really hope to get to meet her and learn more about her one day! We’re instagram friends wow. Didn’t know she followed me until she replied my story…:’) 

The third would be how my hope in humanity was restored. Tampines please don’t make me fall in love with you too much. I don’t think I’ll ever be part of you (huhu) because you are 1. overpopulated and 2. you are no where near here or there.

So Ghufran mosque captured my heart again. This time it goes beyond its proximity to lovely Tampines Hub. This time, it is the people, the jemaah. As I walked with nenek there, people gave their salams. People opened the the door for us. People rushed to help nenek and to kiss her hand. I loved how welcoming they made nenek feel. It’s been so long since she went to a mosque and this experience was really good to spur her spirits up alhamdulillah. I learnt some qualities about nenek along the way during our mini bonding time and mashaAllah…alhamdulillah indeed.
