Ok I really miss writing. I’ve not been staying true to my to-do list which includes writing everyday (whether or not it gets published is another hal).
My sister has this friend who comes from a secular school. He enrolled in one up till his PSLE. She narrated how this friend, at the tender age of 12, had researched about Madrasah, its application process and the works. This wonderful soul also sought available bursaries which can alleviate the financial strain that he knew would come along when he chose this path. The path which not only has a greater amount of subject/knowledge but also school fees that is definitely higher as a private institution than that of government schools.
I reflected how his motivation bloomed intrinsically. A move made by himself and not of his parents’ wishes. An informed choice by a 12 year old.
Truly, hidayah perlu dicari.
Truly, Allah does not change a person if he does not make the first step.
Don’t get me wrong. Going to a madrasah does not equate one as being holier than thou. I’m merely reflecting on how this young one took responsibility on his education. How he planned his life. How he sought what is best for himself AND those around him.
On this blessed Friday, this young one lost his father.
Allahummaghfir lahu, warhamhu, wa aafihi, wa’fu anhu.
Allah loves you. Allah loves your family. Moga tabah ❤
So dear self, do reflect on what you have. Seek for what you NEED to have to reach Allah.
Allah sent this young one as a nudge.
Wake up.
