Oh Tuhan, hapuskanlah fikiran yang tidak akan membawa faedah hasil bisikan si terkutuk.
Oh Tuhan pagarilah hati ini dari perasaan dan sangkaan yang buruk.
لا إلهَ إلا أنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّالِمِيْنَ

Focus pada diri sendiri dan terus melangkah. There’s so much on your plate already so you don’t need other things to distract you dear self.
For the past week, I’ve been blessed with interesting experiences at work and personal life. Hari raya visits on 30th June and 1st July captured many learning points from Mufti (some fiqh questions and a discussion on his take about inclusivity which I still grapple with huhu), Cikgu Zul (He disturbed each one of us mcm biasa, dug for clues if anyone is getting married – which were quite a handful this year inshaAllah, best part was about the importance of Quran in our lives), Halaqah NxR (about gratitude in both bad and good times) and…a beautiful kind soul.
Can I love her? I can. In fact, I should. For the many things she has shared, I learnt that sincerity begets nothing but goodness. I could see it in her eyes when we listened to her talk. She is after all, a mother to a wonderful child. She shared about rezeki, how to cook the spaghetti she served us, loving our future mother in law like our own mother, to focus on our studies and to give our all in the things we do. No wonder her kids are so mashaAllah today. At the end of the day, one needs to sieve and take only the good parts.
Lastly, I still can’t believe I joined the M community in school in one of their adhocs. There is only gratitude and a tinge of worry. Gratitude, as I see many opportunities to build friendship and do islah. Worry, as the platform is very, very open in nature…bebas? You know what I mean? Sis dilabel serious sangat. But issokay, pagar jangan tak pagar. May Allah protect us always…our hearts and actions. Aameen! ❤
