If you want to save the hassle, always have the end in mind. My focus today is about one’s clothing. Sometimes things can get too overwhelming with ever-changing trends and expectations. Sometimes even with a variety of clothing to choose from, one still scratches her head, clueless. Several guiding factors that saves so much time is to evaluate our clothing by ensuring that it is:
1. Solat friendly
2. It brings you comfort
3. Ultimately you feel at ease wearing it.
If it’s too troublesome to wear, one will only feel annoyed at maintaining the look and then to add extra layers just to pray.
Wear comfortable Solat friendly clothes! It can never go wrong inshaAllah. 🙂
On that note…I suddenly feel a bit unsettled and my heart questions the intent of makeup. What if we decide to verbally say a niyyah upon wearing makeup? Like, “I’m wearing makeup because of you Oh Allah.” Don’t you feel as if something is off? Like did Allah ever mention anything about wearing extra ink on ourselves? I mean, I’m guilty of wearing eyeliner. Hence this is something for me to reflect. What exactly is our intent in beautifying ourselves? Who exactly do we want to please?
