Entah kenapa mata tetiba masuk habuk. Tanpa sengaja, air mata pun da bergenang ni. Tunggu kelip je bercucuran lah ia bagai manik terurai (Kamus Pelajar Edisi Kedua, 2008).
Sayu rasanya bila tengok video keluarga Ustazah Mariam H. Terserlah kegigihan dan kasih sayang antara mereka. Ya Allah.. jagakan keluarga mulia ini. Jagakan mereka Ya Allah.
She walks the talk and is filled with positive energy. MashaAllah.
Their story holds a special place within me and I don’t think I’m ready to share with just anyone because it’s too personal for me. Just know that her advice to us (fatayat) in setting a criteria in search of the better half is straightforward and so tangible that it made many of us inspired. Ladies, find someone that is willing to search the truth with you. Don’t aim for an ustaz just because of his vast knowledge or super nice voice (lol) or to seek the ideal situation where “my imam shall guide me”. We are responsible for our own journey. Find that someone who is eager to go on that journey with you. To grow and develop, together. (somehow I feel that I’ve written about this in a previous post but ohwells.)
The best thing she told me was to forever be sisters till akhirah. That my friends, is the most precious memory I have of her. She is like an elder sister I never had and I simply love her outlook, mission and lifestyle. Her sharings are always easy to follow as she paints a clear picture of the deen. Always making things straightforward.
If I could summarise in one point about Ustazah is that, no matter what our background and situation are, be equipped with a burning spirit, despite humble beginnings or hurdles along the way, you’ll pull through inshaAllah. I watched her family grow, now with 4 tickets to jannah to guide. May they become soleh children for their mashaAllah parents.
As for me? and for you dear reader(s), let’s focus on ourselves and keep each other in our prayers.
Till then, strive and keep moving.
“Jangan terlena di salah syurga” pesannya.
Dunia isn’t supposed to be where we rest. No. Not yet. 😥
So this is it. Some of my reasons on why I love her. I hope this post is not that vague as I try to balance between public and private information. Thank you to you for asking about Ustazah. Made me do a little self-reflection.
