Just as you are at your low, missing classes and not prioritize time to memorize Allah’s love letter to us, He nudges you, ever so softly. Which makes me all warm and teary because I know I am not the best candidate to be part of those who will defend, protect and love Al-Quran.
But I choose not to focus on whether or not I am the best candidate or whether I am up for this challenge. It is, a journey, that shall benefit me, groom me and make me a better human inshaAllah.
So I was approached by a fellow schoolmate. The person was saying, eyes glittering and full of enthusiasm, “Fatiha, if there’s any way I can contribute in terms of Al-Quran, tell me.” He was inspired by another schoolmate, our in-house imam in school who contributes by reading at events and leading prayers. I was like “suuuure!”.
But what struck me most was, the dedication.
Living on the other side of Singapore, I felt humbled by this pure dedication and action. I salute this person who goes to Darul Huffaz, religiously, every Sunday. Darul Huffaz, a stone’s throw away from my area.
Allahu~ Clearly, a #sentap moment.
Gotta up my game. Prayers for one another, friends.
